Lessons learnt along the way.

  • Time is soooooo precious. Make time for the people you love. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have anything to wear or any money to do anything extravagant, just spend time with them. Sometimes people just need your attention.
  • Love God, love yourself and love others. Let go of any grudges that you may have. Let people in. Stop thinking about the worst case scenario and just live.
  • Don’t allow pride to let a good thing go. Who cares if they haven’t replied to the last message that you sent? If you need or want to speak to them, make the effort. It is not necessary to miss someone, you can be the one to bring them in to your present.

miss you

  • Live in the moment. It is great to have plans and dreams of where you want to be in the future but make the most of now. Tomorrow is not promised.
  • Have faith in God. You might not understand why things are the way that they are. Try not to worry. It is so easy to just feel like quitting but stick with it. Keep working and believe that God has a greater plan.
  • Be happy. You are the only one who can control how you feel. Don’t allow small things to get to you. Sometimes you just need to live for the bants and stop taking yourself so seriously. Laugh and do whatever it is that makes you happy.

  • Since time is precious, it is important that you learn to be selfish with your time. Don’t be afraid to stop giving time to people or things that are only causing you pain.
  • Be patient. It might not be your time yet but if it is meant to be, your time will come. Everyone around you might be living their dream and even yours, don’t allow this to make you lose hope. Learn to see the beauty in waiting.
  • You cannot do this alone. You need friends and family around you who can give you solid advice and pray for you and point you to God when things get tough.
  • Don’t be scared of the unknown. You are stronger than you think. This is how you will grow. You will meet new people and you will learn more about yourself. Try something new.
  • You do not know it all. Someone out there can help you. Don’t be too proud to accept their help.
  • Love yourself. *I know that I said it before but there is no harm in reminding you* Learn to love the parts of you that nobody else sees. It is ok to have body goals etc. but if you can’t love yourself now, you will probably never learn to see the beauty that is in you. Love your flaws and own them. Be confident in who you are. Don’t be an ashtray for other people’s insecurities.

love yourself

Always a pleasure to read your articles. I learn so much from a person who is quite young but is willing to be used by Jehovah.
